Look at you go with the Dahlias! We have the Zone 4 ones up here, but you in the south grow everything so much nicer!

Thank you! This was my first year trying to grow dahlias but they have grown beautifully. The problem with the south is it’s just too hot unless you give them some afternoon shade

Thank you! It was actually a clearance plant that I rescued from Lowes. It was in rough shape but I was able to bring it back and this was its first rose to bloom. I have it in a partial shade spot and seems to thrive there.

My fav summer pastime is cruising the nursery stock ‘dead or dying’ section and revive perennials. Very cost effective, too.
