Outdoor Puppy?

Hey all, we are picking up our Great Pyr puppy at the beginning of May, she will be 9 weeks old. I've spent hours researching about the breed and training lgds, but I am wondering about others who have raised lgd puppies, did you let them sleep inside/ in a garage for a while? Or just outside? We don't have our goat barn set up yet so if we did keep him outside at first it would be in a kennel, crate (blocked from wind, of course)... I realize lgd's are different from a companion dog, but I can't help but feel bad leaving the little guy outside! Just thought I'd see what your experiences or tips were!

I have a very large mix breed pup that I moved outside when she was about 3 or 4 months old.She was with another dog for warmth and companionship.

I picked up my gp x komondor pup last fall at 3 mo old.
She was living in with their chicken coop & so
I kept her there for just a couple days & then gave her the
run of the place. She hasnt really been in the house,
& there are a whole lot of differing opinions.

I got mine to protect my mixed bird flock tho, not
goats or sheep.

There are lgd threads on here, and other sites,
so you can make up your own mind on what you
want to do...

You dont say where you are (somewhat urban or rural) and what your
outdoor set up is like, so that might determine
your decision.
