Outdoor Time part 2

I boiled an egg and mixed it with some chick starter. Put about a tablespoon in my hand and called "chick, chick". Listen those chickens now come every time I call them. I started this when they were about a week old, now they are 4 weeks old and when they see me they come right up to me. Of course, their little beaks can be sharp, so you might try it with a glove if you are afraid of being pecked.

So try bribing the little sweeties with food in your hand, they will soon love you as much as mine love me.

We have tried to handle ours once or twice a day since the first day we got them. They are now 3 weeks old and seem to be getting more wild instead of tamer. We want to get them outside for a spell but will definitely have them contained in something.

In the brooder at that age mine were crazy also running away and such but now that their in the coop/run setup they come running when we come in and we sit and they fly on our legs to hang out keep messing with them they will get better
