Outdoor water faucet

Hello,
I'm trying to see if there are any products that I could attach to my outdoor faucet so I can keep using it during the winter without fear of freezing the pipes/faucet. Going inside for the water is a pain and wish I could just use my outdoor tap. Does someone know of anything?

We use this styrofoam cover, but I will point out that our temperatures don't go below the upper 20s very often.

Electric Heat Tape? Have you looked at that?

The only thing I can think of is regular pipe insulation. Or leave it dripping.

This is also something I’d find handy, so for a good idea. Leaving it dropping next to our foundation sounds like a bad idea lol

The valve is buried underground below the frost depth (the same depth as your buried pipe) and water runs back out of the vertical riser after use so the exposed pipe does not freeze. They are nice in the dead of winter, But pulling the handle up takes a lot more effort than just turning a faucet knob so they are sort of a nuisance the rest of the year.

Having used a styrofoam cover (which didn't seat completely flush to the wall) in past years, I recently switched to this outdoor faucet and have been very satisfied with its performance.

Ace Hardware, Amazon, most any hardware store...be sure it is okay for outdoor use and follow any directives about wrapping over or under it. It's usually in cable form and needs to be plugged in. I use it at home and at work.
