Thanks everyone for your kind words, He has been so gentle with the ducklings this year, so I know he didn't mean to do this, just a freak accident. Mama and baby are doing really good, I'm the one having the difficulty getting over it. Everyone pics are so precious, I hope i haven't ruined the thread with sadness.

Loving these animals brings unbounded joys along with the sorrows, doesn't it? I would much rather you share the sorrows than keep it to yourself.
