Outside time?

I have 2 three week old white crested ducks and 1 six week out crested duck. I have a large dog run with some chicken wire to prevent predators. I have an large dog house for shade. Its 90 degrees today. Can i put them outside? Can i let them live outside yet? They all love the heatlamp but i cant put that outside overnight. What should i do?

Wow....Yes....They can live outside and will love you for it....Cut those apron strings....

Yes.They can be outside.Raccoons tear through chicken wire like butter so dont put them in that pen at night.They should be fine at night in the coop.How low is it getting where you are?Is there house draft free?

I have little Calls and Appleyard Ducklings that live outside..3 weeks and 5 weeks....No heat just their coop and shavings...They love it....

It will be 68 degrees tonight. Im going to introduce the ducks to the house and pen today.

I also have some 2-3 week old Khaki Campbell's, temps overnight are still low 50's even sometimes 48-49. What would be the minimum temp to let them sleep in outside? I have been putting them in the grow out pen around mid-day and leaving them in all afternoon, returning them to the brooder when the sun sets.

Here in Alberta , Canada the over night lows are +10C.....Mine do great...Duck down is warm...Down filled jackets here in winter...lol.....Just lock them in the coop over night...
