Over excited/ impatient due to hatch 28th May

I’ve checked mine today and 23 out of 24 have spider veins and developing how exciting :-D
Oh wow good luck to you both exciting that yours Caitlin are due to hatch same day :) xx
Thanks and good luck to you too, thats so great they are nearly all developing! Hopefully they all make it to hatch, you'll have to post some pictures when they do!

I have eggs due to hatch on the 25th. I have a variety of chicken eggs in there. Easter Eggers, Black Australorpes, Blue Laced Red Wyandotte, Brahmas, lavender Orpington, buff Orpington and some bantams. We shall see what happens. I had an awesome incubator that I used for a previous hatch (18/24 hatched) but then it just stopped working so my husband bought me this Little Giant. We shall see how it goes.

If I put any more thermometers in there It'l look like I'm hatching thermometers. LOL

Mine a due to hatch may 8 (today) and I'm really nervous about it as this will be my first hatch. I'm using a janoel 12 incubator and haven't seen any signs yet. I'm really hoping they hatch and I'm getting really nervous.

Hey guys ... who hates waiting and getting so impatient checking the humidity god knows how many times a day making sure everything’s going ok !!!
Can’t wait to candle the eggs on Tuesday and hoping to see lots of spider like vains going on
I’ve set Khaki Campbell’s , Indian runners and a cross breed between khaki Campbell and cherry valley

What’s everybody else set / waiting on :)
I wish you good luck with your hatch:) Oh and BTW monitoring your temp and humidity levels so often is a good habit, that way if something does go wrong your on top of it and could save your hatch:thumbsup

Sometimes if the temperature runs a little low the chicks may take a day or two longer to hatch and if the temperature is to high they can hatch a day or two early. My chicks have been hatching a couple of days early so I checked the thermometer I have been using and it was reading low compared to another one. I have more chicks hatching next week. I changed thermometers.

I just thought of a question, if the temp was to high (38 Celsius) for the first week or so then turned to to 37.5 C for the rest of the time roughly when would it hatch, I'm not sure if you can calculate it but I figured I should ask.
