I am sooo very mad.

I looked into the bator this morning to see the eggs from my hen laying on the wire not on the turner. The turner spots are all now completely full of my husbands banty eggs. He said he's giong to hand turn them until several of his banty eggs show as quitters then he'll move them to the turner. We both work long hours and I don't like opening a bator more often than absolutely nessecary, definitely not 4 or 5 times a day. He won't turn them right so I'm half tempted to just throw them out rather than risk deformed chicks.

He has 42 banty eggs going, I don't think 4 slots is to much to ask.

How much of a chance to once or twice a day turned eggs have of a normal hatch?

You'd be surprised, I wouldn't sweat it too much. I wish I had your problem, my husband had to be talked into chickens.
