I have 1 egg left in this batch and it's Day 23. It was wobbling around on 9/10 when the first chick pipped but nothing since. No movement other than when the chick hatched and scattered the remaining eggs about in it's hurry to learn how to stand up. I'd marked which side was up when I put the incubator in lockdown so I returned the egg to the proper position and left it alone. It's been over 48 hours since the egg last moved and 12 hours since the last chick hatched. I had to water candle another egg to check for viability (It was overdue and hadn't shown strong movement at lockdown.) so I watercandled this one as well. Absolutely NO movement whatsoever.
I know there's still time for hatching to occur but with no movement in 2 days and none with the watercandling, is there still hope? Should I let the egg go for a few more days or turn the incubator off now and focus on Peeps, Cheeps, and Beeps (as our kids named the three chicks who did successfully hatch)?
