Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.

Hi all, just joined after attempting my first ever hatch of 7 chicken eggs and only had one viable that made it into lockdown. Temp and humidity has varied throughout process but this last egg was moving with a good air sac before lockdown. However there is no pipping and on candling today (day 22) I see a smaller circle inside the airbag and no movement from the chick any longer.
Advice on what to do next please!
