Overeating?

No, I think those guys are more dual-purpose. Meat breeds are Cornishx mostly.

If the meat breeds overeat, they can cause all sorts of problems. They'll get really heavy, have leg issues, won't be able to walk. I think they are prone to heart problems (and obesity would just put more strain on them.). They do better with less food and more excercise.

The most common breed is a Cornish Cross, typically a Cornish with a White Rock. There are others, but when you hear the terms corsnih cross thats a meatie.

WELSUMMERS are European and thus medium/large dual purpose...eggs and meat

BRAHMAS are Asian in origin (India) and are also dual purpose although they used to be considered a table bird in times past.

They do eat a lot, depending on your frame of reference.

i could never even consider putting any of my babies on my table, glad tho that they're not prone to overeat thanks for the info
