I noticed that my Brahma has a bit of an overgrown beak, should I trim it, or will she file it down on her own?
I haven't noticed any difficulty with eating, so I'm thinking that I'll just let it be.

Almost all my chickens look like this with a little bit of overhang at the top. Never considered that it could be an overgrowth. Curious to hear what others say.

Yeah, I'm partially going off of this picture from Cackle Hatchery

It makes it seem like the upper and lower beak are supposed to be more or less lined up?

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a chicken look like that. Even my younger chicks had an overbite.
