Well, we left for vacation this morning! Checked everything over, filled the feeder, put fresh water in the waterers, and put some going to be hot today. We have a fan sucking fresh air in, and another fan blowing air out, the two of them are intended to cycle fresh air all the time. They are unfortunately stuck in the coop because my dad won't help put up the fence. (My projects ALWAYS get put on the back burner) anyway, my grandpa, who is taking care of them while we are gone, called and told me that one of them died. I don't think there was anything else I can do. It was 98 degrees, with a heat index of 107. Brutal. Anything else to try? The birds are layers, and twelve weeks old.
