Was hoping to post this here too. Maybe you guys can help me too. Only thing I didnt put on here is there is supplemental lighting no heat.

Most hens will ramp up production in early spring. It's a bit early but you are running lights. Did you switch feed? Or cut something out? A higher protein diet can increase production as well.

They are eating a mixture of laying pellets and game bird (due to turkeys in the flock.) Other then that no.

More than once a week is normal. You can look up averages for the breeds you have. For my 5 chickens, over the course of the year, I average 3-4 eggs a day from 5 chickens. Some days I get 5 eggs, other days as few as ZERO, but each girl lays about 4 eggs a week total when they have enough daylight.

Some production breeds can/will certainly lay more than this.

They were bought in early April as 8 week olds. The lights are small lanterns that use double a's I turn them on at 530 PM and off at 830pm
When did you start using this light?
Is it turned on and off at exactly the same time every day?
It's best to use a timer for supplemental lighting, as any increase and decrease in light per day can affect them too.

I've never had them laying more than once a week. Even during the summer time. Was making sure this was normal
Laying once a week is not normal. Are your bird free ranged?

Mine are free range they lay 1 to 2 a week depending on the extra light. I started up again 2 weeks ago. My original lights had completely died out
