Had to share these, I love these pics! Our Barred Rocks are the best moms! They are dominant over the other hens, and take over chicks no matter whos they really are, but they haven't lost a single chick yet, so it works! Interestingly enough, we've never lost a Barred Rock either... but have lost either all of or many of 3 other breeds due to predators.
