Ooh, ooh!!! Service chicken! She would have to wear a diaper and be cleaner than clean, no mites or lice or ticks. BUT ... wouldn't she be a hoot to take visiting to nursing homes and kindergartens and such like???

Maybe you could teach her a few basic tricks like of course walk on a leash, come, stay, hop up in your arms, sit, allow herself to be petted, come when called, and kind of go from there. ... sit on laps.... I don't know..... flap wings on command to "say goodbye" .... tuck her head for "nap time"..... could have some real fun with it!

Google "train a chicken", surely there are ideas out there. It's just a matter of getting her to do ON CUE what chickens do naturally. She sounds like she'd do great. Name her Florence NightenHen or something like that. Oh, FUN!

That sounds like an excellent summer project! This week is our last week of school. I think it is an outstanding idea for my daughters and I to do. Their school requires so many hours of community service before graduation. This would be fun!

This actually sounds like a wonderful idea! I have already considered bringing her to nursing homes and she has a diaper that I'll start using once she gets big enough for it. I didn't know you could train chickens, I will 100% give this a try.
