I've been collecting every night. A few have been on the wet side. This morning, I found this, which has a lot of light reddish stuff. It seems a lot of shedding, if it is intestinal lining, but probably not unheard of... What do you think? Could it be something else? Is it time for Corid?

Someone else closed them in last night, so I'm not totally sure who dropped it, but they are all over 4 years old, and acting normally, for the weather. These birds were bought at the feed store as chicks, different breeds.

Oh, they had veggies and pretty ripe banana last night before bed.

I got a question---what is your purpose for collecting poop every night? Is this something your Vet wanted? I mean I been raising chickens for over 1/2 a century and have never collected poop----like this?? Just curious?

I'm trying to improve a dropping board. It's not a prescription or anything. I do like to clean it often, though I don't always do it every day, and I don't usually put newspaper on it.

As for the birds' health, a couple got pneumonia after deworming, a month or so ago, due to liver problems. I wondered if they carry aspergillus or something, due to reddish eyes a year ago, but didn't hear that from the vet.
