I have 13 chicks in the brooder and have seven adult sized hens, and were building a coop that's 16'x4'.I think it's way too small.Should we make a "SkyWay"walk where they could walk across to another seperate room?I don't know.Should I expand it??Please help!!

Depending on how high it is, you could add a second 3' deep "shelf" at on end, gaining you an additional 12 SF. That would pretty much bring you into line with the 4 SF/bird, but most likely if it is all coop, and has some heighth to it, you would be okay. Is this a coop, or coop AND run? If it is your coop and run, it is likely too small. How big is their run? I

It's about four foot off the ground(It's in a shed/barn,Don't want it to look tacky)and the geese take up to about a foot high of space under it for their nests. So i could do that.THANK YOU dogfish!!!

I was also thinking making another bottom floor and hasve a roost and two boxes or so under the main floor also, and they'll both lead into the 10x10 run.

I wouldn't worry so much about the inside space as the outside space. 10x10 is too small for 20 chickens You need double that especially in Fla where it's gonna be hot and they aren't gonna wanna be inside
