overrun with roosters!!

I had a naked neck/turken rooster. Such an ugly thing, but I loved him. But we didn't want a rooster unless it was friendly and cute, both things the rooster was not. We posted a picture of him and his adorable sister and said it was a package deal in a chicken group on Facebook of people that lived around me. In 15 minutes somebody replied saying they were interested, and in 2 days they were gone. We said on the post that we didn't care if they were eaten, as long as somebody took them, but the person who did take them actually wanted them as pets.

So I'm saying if you know that there's a chicken group or something near you, or if you have chicken swaps like WI does, that could really help.

I have been lucky and found homes for all of my roosters, I was alittle too good at it though, I had 2 LO roosters and bunch of hatching eggs in incubator, I gave my roosters away, when the eggs hatched because they were mixed with black EE hens I only got one blue chick and the rest were black, at the time they were only hitting my EE hens, but I had a pure LO hen, but she started to lay only after they were gone, for a month or so.
