I recently added some young hens to my older (not that much older) flock. Of course we went through the introduction procedures but they still have the pecking order thing going on. The 3 top hens have decided to pig out on the chow trying not to let the younger ones get to it. I now have these giant eggs. Is that a result of pigging out? Will it rupture the hens?

    Welcome to the forum justme3x,

Most likely your older hens will be just fine. Your younger hens should have food available at all times. Consider putting another feeding station for the new ones so that they aren't deprived of food/water.
