Can't seem to think of a solution for simple hand turning in a Hova Bator.
I did recently go off coffee so maybe that's part of it.
I have 7 local eggs that can be laid sideways and 10 shipped eggs that will need to stay upright the entire time. For these, I had planned on using a paper egg carton tilting one side three times a day. But, I recently read not to use paper cartons in this very helpful post by Sally Sunshine so not sure what to do now,
"Do not incubate eggs on paper trays or in boxes.
This guarantees heterogeneous egg/embryo temperatures,
resulting in high levels of early mortality." (attached photo of an egg carton
