Hi, yesterday I got two new, 17 week old, easter egger pullets one of has a bit of an injury but I've taken care of it. My problem is that I feel that we(me and my family) should not be over whelming them (because they have just moved and we are introducing them into our flock) by having new kids touching and holding them. The kids who are holding them can be a bit loud and energetic. So would it be okay for them to hold them? will the chickens be overly panicked or overwhelmed?

Since they are new they should be quarantined from your flock for about a month. Watch for illness & check for external parasites. I've read for introduction, sectioned off area with food/water where the new girls & flock can see each other without any injury. Enjoy.
X2
Must be Quarantined!
