Owl Decoy to scare Hawks?

Someone gave me an bobble headed owl decoy to scare off the hawks when I get chickens this spring.

Wonders if this would work.....or would the hens/rooster be scared of it, cause owls are chook eaters too?

I have my doubts, just wonder what others think or have experienced.

I have a owl decoy that I use. It works pretty well. Best thing to do is move it everyday to a different spot. It seems more real to other animals since it isn't stationary. My chickens don't even register it being there lol. It is not a sure thing to deter hawks but it definitely helps!
