Owls - how to keep away?

I had an owl kill several of my birds. I finally figured what was killing them with a game camera. I have a couple of coops that are open on one side and the owl was getting in. I eventually put netting over all of the pens and haven't has an issue since. Now and then I do hear them in the trees in my back yard hooting.

I thought that I would toss in this little factoid.
Does anyone remember the brew-ha-ha over the disappearing spotted owls?
Well this mystery has been solved.

It seems that the Spotted Owls are inbreeding with Barred owls and in doing so the Spotted Owls are changing their spots into bars.

Never one to let a good emergency go to waste the US Forest service is now actively killing owls in order to save owls.

Perhaps you can convince the USFS that you saw a GHO kill a Spotted Owl and get a USFS sniper to come out and shoot GHOs for you.

In the mean time no one is giving a hoot about the humans who lost their livelihood over this fake news. Excuse me, I meant Yellow Journalism.

Now George, a little too much BS there. A factoid that must be pointed out.
