Owls????

my chicken run that I have has a hole in it and likes 1 for long hole that does shorter in each end and I forgot to cover it and my chicken run is in the woods and I've been reading about owls and how do I know if a owl lives by here also I have a lot of trees

Trees are synonymous with hoot owls so yes you have owls living close to your chickens. Owles also can see you in almost total darkness and hear you in total darkness but we can't see or hear an owl unless it allows us to.
