Something took my mommy duck right off her eggs. Her neck was broke and her foot was gone and her belly was spilt open. Does anyone have any idea if this was an owl or something else.?

Thank you. I've went from 16 to 8 ducks in two months.

I'm sure you've heard it before, but you need to make a predator proof coop and run. Then figure out what predators are around to see if it's even possible to free range in your area.

Every duck I've lost to an owl that was found was found headless.
