Does anyone use Oxine AH in their chicken's water? What are the pros/cons?

I use Vanodine instead... it's concentrated and a small amount (a few teaspoons in a gallon of water) makes enough to clean and keep the water fresh. It's also iodine based so it's a good source of iodine for your chickens. Product stays fresh for a long time and you know when it's inactive when the color changes. It's very economical... can also be used on wound as a anti microbial, anti fungal, anti viral. I don't know how much Oxine AH is but a 8 oz bottle of Vanodine is around $10.

I just put either a tsp or two of organic ACV in a gallon, or a few drops of bleach, as I have well water.
