Oxine users - what's an alternative?

I tried to order some Oxine from Revival and it's on indefinite backorder, other places as well, because there were problems with leaking and bursting containers. I need something to add to my horse and chicken waterers to keep the water cleaner. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm really missing my Oxine.

Same problem here. I found it for about $25.00/gallon on the Great Companions website. When you make a $49 purchase you get free ground delivery. But . . .. backordered, and they don't know when they'll be getting it in. Amazon seems to have it for $50.00. I may cave.

I found an alternative: ClearWaterTroughs.com. They're in Bishop, Ga. They make tablets, small and large, that you throw in the trough or waterer. I got some of the large ones and a trial pack of small ones. I've only just started using them.
