Oyster Grit

My chicks are two weeks old almost and I'm wondering if they can have the oyster shell grit?? Or if they need it yet?? They seem healthy, happy & content in their brooder for now
With their crumble and some plain Greek yoghurt here n there. Thanks for any info

Throwing a sod of grass (soil n all) into the brooder will help them get the grit that they need - and they'll have fun with it too!

Oyster shell is for added calcium. I would not introduce that until they begin to lay eggs.
As @CTKen says a piece of sod is a good way to give them some grit or you can buy chick sized grit at the local feed store, it is finely crushed granite.
