Oyster Shell from local oyster bar?

Hey all,
Is it ok to get Oyster shells from the local Oyster Bar/Restaurant? I assume I'd have to grind them up myself.
Is it ok? Has anyone done it?

Yup, it's okay. Free is nice. Hammering oyster shells into little bits might be worth it for some folks.
