    Hey all,
Is it ok to get Oyster shells from the local Oyster Bar/Restaurant? I assume I'd have to grind them up myself.
Is it ok? Has anyone done it?

Quote:Someone posted a few months ago that they used whole oyster shells. I think they crushed them up with a hammer.

Yup, it's okay. Free is nice. Hammering oyster shells into little bits might be worth it for some folks.

Put them in a heavy burlap bag and drive over them with your car
