Oyster Shell: Ok for Roos?

My hens need some oyster shell, but they are in a pen with their roos. Is it ok for the roos to eat the shell as well? Kind of a dumb question, but I wanted to make sure.

I just throw a hand full of oyster shells in my pen about once a week and my roos are also in there. It doesn't seem to bother mine.

Mine eat it all the time. It doesn't seem to bother him.

If it is separate from the food the roos should ignore it.

I've got shell in a brick outside and the hens gobble some down, but never seen the roo's actually eat any... just do the pick and drop, "hey hens, goodies" sounds with them.
