oyster shell?

Does it need to be fed everyday? or just a couple times a week? I gave 1/2 bowl monday night and it's already gone.

Offer it all the time; they will eat what they need. I have mine in a tuna can screwed to the wall. I refill when they empty it...same with grit.

will it bother my younger chickens? they still have about 2 months before they lay.

Younger chickens may taste oyster shell bits, but they won't eat it like the layers will. They'll be fine.

The younger ones will not feel a need for it...they start eating it when they start laying. Mother Nature is an amazing thing
