Oyster Shells

What's the best way to give my girls oyster shells? My buddy is a shucker at a local restaurant so I can get an unlimited supply. Should I just give them whole oysters or put them in a bag and crush em up a little it?

Growing up we always added the oyster shells in with the food, mixed it in.

Make sure they are dry before you bag them.

I use caged bird feeder cups (with hooks on them) and hang them off the hardware cloth. One for grit and one for oyster shell. I go through way less of both this way.
