PA/oh/wv Fall chicken stock- change in venue allegh. cty north park

Animals are allowed. As long as they are penned it will be okay. I will run it by the rangers when I reserve though. Last year they had a racing pigeon event so i'm sure it will be fine.

There will have to be a change in venue for the chickenstock. I contacted a ranger friend I know that works at another state park here called mcconnells mill. He said they probally would not allow the chickens since they are not a domesticated animal. He suggested north park in allegheny county which is about 20 min from morraine towards pittsburgh. As long as the animals are not running around they should be okay. ?I contacted them this morning and they are fine with it. So we need to get a date in order. Northpark is part of the allgheny parks sytem and a large park that has a lake that goes over 3 miles with walking and biking areas around a huge lake and tons of picnic areas. I actually grew up about 3 miles from the park in gibsonia pa and I love that park even though I have not been there for about 5 years.

North Park is beautiful!! I always drive through there on the way to and from where my Nana is buried.

You can still count me in. Maybe by then I will have some babies to bring!!
