I was looking for her to see if she had any tufted araucana roosters for sale since we were over on that side of the mountains. We have been looking for a tufted rooster for ages and I really don't want to pay shipping.

Maybe things canwork out at the Chehalis show in Nov.

Yup. He was ringing the thing when we got home and freaking the chickens out. They were all rushing out to see what the sound was and telling us what they thought of it.

I'd love to go to Chehalis but not sure if I could make it since the passes tend to be a pain that time of year. Maybe one of my fellow dry-siders will be able to fit an extra bird in their car for me...

That is the main reason they moved it from Dec to Nov to try to help outthe dry siders who can't drive in a little solidified rain!!!

I'm planning on going, just waiting for the catalog to be posted online. Hopefully I'll actually win something this time, since I'm not using my highest quality bird for showmanship. But I had a great time and that's all that matters.

Keep in mind can't everybody be in the parade somebody has to be there to appreciate it. Otherwise it's just a traffic jam ! ! !
