So my chicks left M.O. on Wednesday, the weather has been really rough through the area they are traveling on their way to Rhode Island. I am so nervous about their condition!! They should be here today, I have the brooder set and will be taking off from work as soon as they arrive at the Post Office.

Who know I would be this anxious!!!!

How do you deal with the jitters of your chicks arrival?

You think you have it bad. My chicks are on pre-order in a May hatch and I'm a nervous wreck worrying the weather will take a sudden dive just as they're being shipped. You have a few more hours to manage your anxieties. I need to try to endure for another month, even though my chicks are only just now beginning incubation.

More coffee?

I'm waiting for a dozen eggs to hatch... finding distractions helps... but I'm still anxious! So, what are you getting? And how many?

Yes sitting and watching those eggs when they get that first pip and hearing them chirp is nerve wrecking..you just what to pick them up and help them BUT you can't..you just have to watch and wait and wait and wait. Lol good luck
