Pack of dogs killed half our flock

When a rogue sheep dog went after a deer and then my guinea fowl, the game warden told me if it shows up again, shoot it. This is a sheep and cattle area. Rogue dogs are not tolerated. And deer hunting is a high value business, so attacking deer is not okay either. Really depends on the region.

A game warden told me the same thing. If my flock is being attacked I have the right to shoot the attacker.

Yes, they tore one side completely open, I should have attached the wire better, never thought of a pitbull with his pack coming around though to get to my birdies.

On a side note, the one bird that seemed very shocked and sort of subdued, seems to have recovered and is pecking and scratching again with the rest of them. They're even still laying eggs surprisingly enough.

Glad they are recovering.
