Paco's foot

Are you still soaking? and using the cream? I think I'd just soak really good and give it more time. With the swelling still there maybe there is still some infection going on. But it doesn't look like the scab is ready yet.
I have been soaking it every night. Then i put peroxide on it then wash that off and I've been using the Neosporin on it and I put a bandage over it for the night and during day. I take him out during day with his duck friends and take the bandage off, it eventually falls off.

I am too and have for quite a while. No one has told the OP to cut into Pacos foot since they took him to the vet. But the swelling is saying there is still some infection and hopefully continuing the meds, soaks and cream will continue to heal it. Paco is coming along. When I took my duck to the vet with bumble the meds helped bring it to the surface, I did have to go in and remove the infection though because there wasn't a scab with this bumble like in others I have treated. Experience lets the OP decide which is best treatment for their own bird.

Leave off the peroxide. And if you have Veterycin use it, then the Neo. as long as there's a scab no need to wrap. I'd just keep up with soaks and treatment at night leaving the wrap on till they get it off. lol Every bumble can be different and can take a while to heal. Your going with the slow approach which is good. I do too but I have treated enough now to know when I can remove the scab and get out the infection.

Ok thank you, I will hold off on the peroxide and I will go get some vetercyn. He still doesn't seem to be acting any different or limping around on the foot.

Both good signs! Your doing a good job just hang in there. I have 5 Salmon Faverolles who must have the tenderest feet going on a chicken ever since they grew up they are 2 yrs now I have had to treat all five for bumble. It looks like with them it's an on going thing. With my ducks it's only been one Indian Runner craziest bumble I have ever seen wasn't even sure what it was so took her to the vet. After about 7-10 days on meds it was where I could open and get the bumble out never any scab I have a pic of the bumble if you want to see.
