Paint or not

Hello. I didn't paint the inside of mine yet, but had plan to. People say it helps keep mites down by painting the inside too.

I don't know if it keeps mites down or just makes them easier to spot. I painted/coated my floor with the rubber roof coating and ran it up the wall about a foot to help with the litter/bedding. The rest of the interior is not painted.

Up to you, whether for aesthetics or maintenance. I didn't bother painting mine.

It's a personal preference, I didn't paint the inside. I did use Black Jack 57 on the floor and up the walls 12 inches.

Thanks for the info. Rubber roof and Black Jack would never have entered my mind.
