Painting a coop

I painted my coop and wonder how long before I can let my chicks stay in there? I don't want them to be overcome by the fumes. My chicks are about 5 weeks old and have not yet lived in the outside coop at all. They have been in the house.

I'd let it air out a day or two- you want the paint to 'cure' so they won't be able to peel it off the walls and eat it.
