I haven't raised turkeys in about 15 years but, I do have 25 heritage poults coming in a few weeks. I built a nice large wooden brooder box and had thoughts on painting the inside of it. Has anyone done this before? Are turkey poults to sensitive for such a thing? If you have what type of paint do you recommend? I had thoughts on a layer of kills then just a normal latex paint. Thanks for any advice.

I just finished mine Monday so I don't know about long term effects. They haven't tried to peck the paint off. I used Valspar Latex Enamel, Interior/Exterior in Almond. I should have used a layer of Kilz because it looks bad. But looking back, everything I've ever painted looks bad, I don't have the patience for it.

Removable Floors with dividers and Removable and Folding Top. Stackable from 1-3ft should work for quail to decent sized turkeys, maybe even a sick or injured bird.

I like how you made them stackable. Mine is about six foot by three foot. All wood and I found some old small wheels kicking around so I can move it if need. I'm mostly worried about the pecking and if it will hurt them.
