Sorry, this is sort of off-topic, but it is for my coops. When I had my 8 yr old metal roof replaced two years ago (long story, was installed improperly before we bought the house), I made the guy save the old roof behind my shed/barn. SO! I have about 4000sq ft minus a singlewide mobile home worth of metal roofing that I'm going to use for pens for critters, but it's ORANGE. This house was painted two shades of coral throughout when we bought it, coral exterior doors, and an orange roof. I now HATE looking at orange anything :barnie

Can anyone make a recommendation on what kind of paint I should use that will stay for at least a few years and not be harmful to the critters? Preferably something I can spray with that el cheapo Harbor Freight sprayer haha. TIA for any advice!

Rustolium (sp?) with some prep and primer. Or ask local hardware or paint supply or Habitat Restore. Have fun!!!

Usually I trust the paint desk, but I know birds are sensitive critters, so I figured bird experts were better to ask than paint experts for this ;)
