Painting the coop and run

I am going to be building a coop and run here soon total it will be 8ftx20ft. I haven't been able to find a thread that has been previously posted about how often you need to repaint your coops. I am just trying to get an idea how often I will have to reapply paint to my coop and run.

There is no way for us to answer that as the timing of pain degradation will vary from one location to the next, one type of paint to the next, etc. Choose a good, quality exterior paint and ask the paint person how long that type has been shown to last in your specific area.
