Might need to move them up so they are higher than the nests...
...if your birds start sleeping in the nests.

ahhh good point! I did read about that and then forgot! Oh well, that shouldn't be too hard to do. How high is ok? I don't want them to hurt themselves...

How lucky to have that friend! I researched for years before we were in the position to build our first coop and I still found things I would have changed. Heck, on our current coop we build the whole thing without considering that it would have been nice to have a way to access the run from the coop for the humans. Oh well!

Yes - I am very fortunate to have her. She has been amazing!
