Up for auction is a bearded black silkie pair. The cockerel is 10-11 months old and is not from black to black breeding. He was hatched out of my BBS pen. This is hard for me to list this cockerel because he is my favorite
but I need the room and you just can't keep everything.
Both have excellent feet, The cockerel is nice and short legged and is built like a little bulldog. No hackle leakage and he has a nice dark comb.
Black hen about 1 ½ years old. She is not from a black to black breeding. She came out of BBS eggs that I purchased. Has good feet but could use more feathering on middle toes. She does have a bigger comb than what I like and has a looser wing set. She is a great layer and currently in a molt.
~I HAVE PICS OF BOTH BIRDS POSTED THAT I TOOK TODAY AND SOME THAT I TOOK PRIOR TO THEM MOLTING A FEW MONTHS AGO~
They will get a bath ,have their nails trimmed and beak trimmed if needed before shipping…
