Up for auction is a pair of 10 month old imported pure Red Bantam Dutch Silkies.
All proceeds from this auction will benefit the PEACH STATE CLASSIC a stand alone show for the American Serama to be held on May 26, 2012 in Jefferson, GA. Shipping available as well as local pickup and pickup at the show.
These are really nice birds from imported dutch lines, never out-crossed to American Silkies

I did not breed these, they were hatched from purchased eggs. I believe they came from a large breeding pen with multiple roosters and hens. I feel certain they at least came from different hens. I can't say for certain how closely related they are.
 
Dutch silkies are just Silkies that were imported from the Netherlands, they are bred to a different standard, usually have a smaller top knot, and they come in Bantam and Standard sizes, unlike the American Silkie.

These are Bantams.
