I'm in south Georgia and never had to heat any of my peacock pheasants I had over the years, maybe on some of our super cold nights, which are just in the upper 20's for a couple hours, put a heat lamp in the coop, but outside that, I never did anything for them. Now if you are in N Georgia it may be a little different.
Congrats on the palawans though, those are the top prize in them, them and the rothchilds mountain peacock pheasants, sure do miss them!!
