Please don't use de around you or you chickens, it will cause serious respiratory issues for them and doesn't really work on pests.

DE is perfectly safe and helps with all kinds of worms in various stages. The only thing bad about DE is it’s dust which can cause respiratory issues but if applied while chicken are out of the area, there’s is no problems. I’ve been using DE for years and have had no problems

With all respect, it doesn't do anything at all for worms, and I have have the science to back it up. Not only that, but even the package will likely say somewhere something like "ineffective when damp", the inside of a chicken is a little more than damp.
Anything that's inert enough to not have any side effects is something that's inert enough to not have any medicinal worth.
I spent all winter researching DE and other homeopathic wormers, with one exception, they don't work.
