I have three Amberlinks approx 17-18 weeks old. They should be starting to lay soon, but so far nothing. It has been a very hot summer for us and we are doing all we can to help our flock stay cool. Fan w/ mister, almost fully shaded coop/run, ice cubes in a water bowl in addition to their regular water source, watermelon treats, electrolytes in water, less time free ranging because that’s mostly in the sun and if they do it’s in the evening. They are all acting perfectly normal with the exception of panting, but this gals comb has turned very pale. I’ve checked for mites, but I’m not seeing anything. I’ve read anemia, but she not lethargic at all. Is there anything else I should be doing or checking on? I’ve posted pictures of her along with her two sisters who are the same age.
