UPDATE!! And questions. She is doing a lot better now and acting more like normal although her comb and face are still pale but slowly gaining color. We felt like we were going to loose her the other night as she was not doing well at all. As a last ditch effort to try something we gave her some doxycycline mixed with water with an eye dropper and there was improvement the next day. We just cut open a 100 mg doxycycline capsule dumped about a fifth in a cup and got it in her beak. We did that twice daily. Today we just sprinkled some in her food and she ate it. We have no way to measure the amount that she is getting, have no idea how much she is supposed to get and how long she should be on it. As of now we have used 150 mg with spillage so she didnt get all of that. Right know she is better so maybe dumb luck and prayers are on our side.
